At Least There’s Still You, a fan project by Shannon

Have you always wanted to write a letter to Han Geng but can’t write Chinese? :) Or have you always wanted to help out your fellow gengfans? Here’s your chance!!

AT LEAST THERE’S STILL YOU PROJECT ( 至少还有你  )

To celebrate the acquisition of 800+ followers (8 is my lucky number, 800 is an even luckier number), I’ve decided, after making some arrangements, to start a very special support project for Geng fans! Let me explain how this is going to work.

We are going to create a scrapbook showing our support for Han Geng, even in the current situation or any future situation that may occur. It will include messages of support as well as some of our favorite pictures of Han Geng. Once completed and fully assembled, I will mail it to my good (and trustworthy!) friend in Beijing, who has agreed to deliver it to Han Mama at one of their dumpling restaurants.

The goal of this project is to show that there are even overseas fans from outside of China and Korea and even Asia as a whole who will support Han Geng no matter what happens.

So what I would like to ask you all to do is leave me your messages to Han Geng and/or your favorite picture(s). You can go ahead and send them in English, I will translate them into Chinese for you before assembling everything. This is also where I may need some help: If the message load gets too big, I would love to have some help from others who are fluent in Mandarin Chinese. If you’re interested in giving me a hand, let me know!

Before you get started on your messages, bear in mind that unfortunately, we do have some requirements:

• Please don’t make too long of a message! A paragraph will do. This is because it will be a huge pain to translate something really long, and I’m really sorry. I will not set a particular word limit, and I’d love to have more than one sentence, but please don’t send in an essay.
• I won’t include meaningless, irrelevant, inappropriate, or insensitive messages. Try to write something thoughtful that will really show your devotion and support as a fan! (Unacceptable messages include annoying statements like MARRY ME OPPA!!!, anything about SME, your personal information, sexual or rude comments, etc. Common sense and good judgement are your bff’s.)
• You must include your first name (or nickname, if you’d prefer), but you don’t have to give a last name. You must also include your current country of residence. If you’re from the U.S., you may also include your state, but I don’t need anything further such as your city. This is to show that Han Geng has fans everywhere!

As for picture submissions, I don’t really have any requirements, but don’t give me any awkward or inappropriate pictures, please. Haha. If you have any questions or are not sure if your message would be deemed inappropriate or not, I will be happy to answer any questions.

Unfortunately, although we would love to, we can’t take physical gifts because shipping will cost a lot, and will also take a really long time. We also do not want to be liable for anything you paid for… :|
